IPO Porto mission is to provide timely, patient-centered healthcare, without neglecting prevention, research, training and teaching in the field of oncology with the aim of ensuring high levels of quality, humanism and efficiency.

The fight against cancer is a daily and permanent task, which requires constant research and reinvention in the search for new treatments, new methods and renewed hope. This work is not possible without the right people to develop it. Therefore, we present the main strengths of IPO-Porto in terms of Teaching and Research – two premises that we believe should go hand in hand.
