I am a Biochemist with a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and a passion for Immunology.
I have devoted my career to research (both within academia and the biotech industry) and science communication, both formal (higher education teaching and scientific conferences) and informal (scientific gatherings and scientific opinion writings).
My professional path has 3 main components.
The first is research in the areas of hemato-oncology and immunology, where I have actively and extensively used different types of flow cytometers, techniques and softwares.
The second is higher education teaching, where I gained multiple skills, such as the development of training material, mock-ups, prototypes and tutorials.
The third is working in biomedical startup companies, where I assumed various team management positions, learned the specificities of working in a private company and further enhanced my flow cytometry skills.
